SIMON FIRKINS

Simon established SF Planning in 2005 after several years’ experience in the private and public sectors which followed a BA (Hons) Degree in Town and Country Planning and a Master of Town Planning from the University of Manchester.  Simon has built the company around his reputation for providing high quality, succinct, and candid advice.

As well as overseeing the company as a whole, Simon maintains his role as a leader of planning development proposals and policy change across all sectors of the industry; taking particular enjoyment from getting challenging projects (of any scale) ‘over the line’ and providing support to charitable and community-based proposals.

When not working, Simon loves spending time with his family and friends, travelling and eating out (when possible); and is an active member of a local church.  Any remaining excess energy is burnt off on the squash court and the odd cycle ride.
