Forest of Dean Call for Sites

call for sites

Forest of Dean District Council is running a call for sites.

The council will assess submitted sites through the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment. Sites with housing and employment potential in the area are assessed to see if they are suitable, available and deliverable for both housing and economic land uses. If they are found to be so, they are then considered for allocation within the Local Plan. Inclusion in the Local Plan is an enabler to gaining planning permission.

The deadline for submitting a site to be assessed within this year’s assessment is 31st March 2023. Sites submitted after this deadline will be held on file until next year’s assessment.

If you have any land interests which may be suitable for future development, and would like our help with making a submission, please contact us to discuss as soon as possible.

More detailed information about the Forest of Dean call for sites is available on the Council’s website.
