OVERVIEW
The new factory enables the expansion of G-TEM, who have been headquartered at Gloucester Business Park for 20 years.
The approved scheme is located on the opposite side of Hurricane Road to the company’s existing 250,000 sqft facility, and provides an additional 120,000 sqft of space. The expansion plans allows G-TEM to create up to an additional 150 jobs, on top of the 500 already employed by the company.
Planning Consultants, SF Planning, were engaged by G-Tem with the brief of delivering the Gloucester planning permission within a short timeframe of a matter of 3 to 4 months. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary design team and proactively with Tewkesbury Borough Council, the planning application was prepared, submitted and subsequently consented within the 13 week statutory timeframe to enable the delivery brief to be met.
